Gathering Who?

This a continuing series of posts on the premiere of a new musical, "Gathering Blue," based on the best-selling novel by Lois Lowry. that will have its professional premiere August 24-26 at the Gretna Theatre in Mount Gretna, PA. It is an important new musical, that speaks to our times and our personal responsibility.

I wanted to introduce you to the members of our creative team, a little at a time. It's a remarkably accomplished group of artists, who are dedicated to telling this important story. We hope to reach out to a new generation of theatre-goers, who are already intrigued by Ms. Lowry's writing.

The music and lyrics are co-written by Michael Silversher and Joy Sikorski

The book (libretto, script) is written by Richard Hellesen
